Thomas Jetter

Thomas Jetter

Thomas Jetter was born in Gossau SG in 1996. He attended his first horn lessons with Ursula Petith at the age of 7. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in 2020 at the Zurich University of the Arts with Prof. Mischa Greull. Thomas Jetter completed his Master’s degree in Performance there in 2022. He is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Pedagogy with Olivier Darbellay at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

In addition to successfully participating in various Swiss solo competitions, Thomas Jetter was awarded first prize by the Marianne and Curt Dienemann Foundation in 2021. He deepened his virtuosity through numerous masterclasses, including with Frøydis Ree Wekre, Carsten Duffin and Johannes Hinterholzer. He has performed with various orchestras, including the Gstaad Festival Orchestra and the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra.
